Why moissanite
Moissanite is silicon carbide. It rates 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale and carries a refractive index of 2.65 to 2.69 — higher than diamond. That is why it throws noticeably more coloured fire than cubic zirconia, and why it holds that brilliance instead of clouding over after a few months of wear.

Care
